Top 5 Best Spa Massage in Hoi An 2025
Originally published April 23, 2025. Updated May 2025.
Vietnamese massages have their roots in ancient Chinese practices. The main aim of the massage is to reduce stress by kneading muscle knots using specific techniques. This differs from Thai massages, which typically include more stretching movements during the session.
Vietnamese massages involve less movement overall, although some gentle pushing and pulling may be involved. The focus is on using firm pressure to target knots and release tension, though you can always request a lighter touch from your therapist if needed.
Hoi An is one of my favorite locations to experience Vietnamese traditions and culture. Home to some of the coolest and most picturesque streets in the world, it is also a great place to unwind and get a high-quality spa or Vietnamese massage treatment.
With so many spas to choose from, it can be overwhelming to pick the right one. That’s why we’ve done the legwork and narrowed down the top spa recommendations for 2025.

I really love Golden Girl Spa! Not only do they give amazing treatments and massages, but the atmosphere is like being part of a warm and friendly family. They make a big effort to make sure you feel welcome and give you top-notch care.
Sang, the owner, is very focused on maintaining quality and ensuring that customers are happy. She pays attention to every detail to make sure everything is perfect and that everyone has a great time. There are a lot of different services like massages from Vietnam and Thailand, treatments for your nails, dyeing your hair, and waxing. When you’re there, you can enjoy a nice, clean environment with air conditioning, music, and even some healthy refreshments like a mango smoothie. As you can see from the photo it is set in the most tranquil street with beautiful buildings all around. If you want, you can also get a tasty salt coffee from their cafe nearby and bring it with you to the spa.

Denovo Spa is owned and managed by an elegant and delightful woman, and her excellent sense of style and attention to detail shows in her business. I had the pleasure of chatting with her a few times before going back to do my review, and I was very impressed with what I found.
Although the spa is small, it’s beautifully decorated and always kept clean. The massage therapists are all very skilled and provide clients with both professional and welcoming service. If you’re interested in getting your nails done while you’re there, they have an expert on standby. The shop is also air-conditioned, providing a refreshing escape from the heat outside. I highly recommend checking it out!

This spa is simply amazing! As soon as I walked in, I was in love with the beautiful design and ambience of the place. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and they really made me feel welcome.
I opted for a body scrub, which was incredibly refreshing and left my skin feeling soft and smooth. At the end of the treatment, they served me hot tea, fruits, and homemade candy (I think it was banana and chocolate), which was such a great touch. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my visit so memorable. I will definitely visit again soon!
